another scrapbook spread

this is part of my good time gal canvas book. on the left is a piece of fabric i painted by wetting it and then squishing it around in all the leftover paint at a recent class, cleaning all the palettes with it...thanks to co-worker ali for the idea!

it turned this wonderful shade of green, with yellow and purple highlights. you can see the evidence on my hands at the end of this post on the c&t blog.

all the pictures on this spread celebrate just a few of the really, really, really good times i had while living in san francisco in my 20s and 30s. the paper dahlias accent these pages because the dahlia garden in golden gate park is one of my absolute favorite places (and the dahlia is the official flower of san francisco).
